What we Believe.

About Jesus We teach that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of the Living God who died for our sins and rose from the dead and is Lord of all the universe and our lives.

About the Bible We teach that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the sufficient guide for our faith and living the Christian life.

About God We teach that there is only one God in three persons and He created the universe and all of life.

About Human Beings We teach that every person is created in the image of God and has value but that all have broken God’s law.

About Salvation We teach that salvation is by grace and accepted as a free gift from God by trusting in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, submitting ourselves to God’s way of living, telling of our faith, and by being baptized by immersion in water in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins and receiving the Holy Spirit.

About the Holy Spirit We teach that the Holy Spirit lives within our bodies and empowers us to live when we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

What we Value.

We exist to make disciples of Christ by loving kids and strengthening families in order to redeem the Lincolnway community.

MAKE DISCIPLES

We believe that following Jesus means that we are becoming more like him. This only occurs through active discipleship. These type of discipleship will result in disciples who make disciples who make disciples. We encourage all believers to be involved in the discipleship process. How are you growing as a follower of Jesus?

LOVING KIDS

As a church, we have determined that through loving kids we can best impact our community. As such, we put a high value on every interaction with a child being a meaningful one. This means getting on their level both physically and mentally, while continually looking towards the vision of making disciples. What would make this moment the best moment in a child’s week?

STRENGTHENING FAMILIES

While loving kids is a start, we recognize that we only are with a child a few hours a week. A strong family is needed to help develop that child. We are always looking for ways to engage parents and to help them to become disciples as they lead their families. What can we do to support families in helping them to guide their children?

REDEEMING OUR COMMUNITY

Life equals life. If are only disciples so that the church will grow and we are safe inside, then we are missing the mark. We should be seeing a direct influences of disciples in our local community. This is not shown in events, but outcomes. How is this community better because of the love of Jesus being shown through His followers?
